Bob and Friends, 2018 - ongoing

Bob is a 3D model created (bought) with an interest in how CGI influencers are normalizing through social media platforms, and how their representation further blends our daily lives with advertisements and commerce. Much like the sponsored ads that come from our search history, audio tapped from our conversations, or matched by the products we have already purchased, Bob is a mirror image of the artificial intellegence that constructs our reality. Displacing a real body, Bob inserts the artifical representation of what could be. Bob is an avatar, spy, shopping consultant, and friend.
